RE: Pupil Leadership
Dear parents/carers,
It is my great pleasure to announce our school councillors and Year 6 head boys and head girls for this academic year. Our Head Boy, Head Girl and School Council will listen to any concerns and views of other children. Part of their role is to come up with ideas to help improve our school and make decisions about future changes. Being in such a role is a very responsible position and the children involved play a very important part in developing Avanti House Primary for the better.
I have now had my first meeting with this group of pupils and was delighted to witness their enthusiasm, intelligence, and determination to make the school even better than it already is. Below you will find introductory letters from each of our pupils wherein they outline their aspirations, experience and vision as new leaders for this academic year.

I am a really compassionate role model for the school and I would like to help students become the best of themselves.
My favourite subject is maths and I also really like PE. I will help the school by showing the school all the values to become all rounded beings.
Also as a head pupil we have been included in many roles which you will hear about later on.
Prajna
I am passionate about art and listening to music and have experience in computing and sewing. I would describe myself as kind, understanding and punctual. I am glad to be in this school, excited for this opportunity and I am honoured to be a head pupil and part of the pupil leadership team.
I hope to contribute to the ongoing development of our school by encouraging improvements to our facilities and resources, making sure they meet the needs of all students and create an inclusive environment

I am proud to be one of the Head pupils in the Year 6 pupil leadership team.
My aim is to make the school a better place by making it a more eco-friendly environment for all.

When applying for head pupil, I brought up the idea of a ‘suggestion box’ to engage all students in the school as well as teachers.

My favourite subject is Maths and Science and I am interested in becoming an engineer when I am older. I want to help the school community and I am grateful that lots of people such as the governors are here to support us.

I love to help people and I deeply care about making sure that everyone has a great time at my already amazing school. I am very talented at D.T. and I am always making and improving things. I am so glad that I go to Avanti House Primary.
